A feeling of rightness can be just a conditioned response or on a deeper level the same sense of rightness can help us turn towards our experience without grasping, just letting our experience be as it is, letting what comes up, just come up. The sense of heart is the essence of our being that we don't yet fully know. If we look directly at our experience and ask if there is a boundary to it, ask what really we are experiencing, we may begin to see in a very different way, a way that becomes open, spacious, unrestricted.

We cannot act free from desire but we can learn how to let desire express itself. We can learn how to make desire open, clear and sensitive. All feelings come and go in the space of Awareness. The feeling of disappointment can be painful but if we just allow ourselves to experience it we see that disappointment, too, is full of sensitivity and responsiveness.
